Privacy Policy — Egg Tree
Last updated: [12/09/2026]
1. Data Controller
Egg Tree (“the Game”) is developed and published by Bresa Studio. Privacy contact: [bresastudio@gmail.com]. This policy explains what data is collected, for what purposes, and what rights you have.
2. Summary
The Game does not require registration or your email address. Your progress is stored locally on your device. The Game uses game analytics (GameAnalytics), advertising (Google AdMob), and a global leaderboard (Supabase). Your player name and competitive scores are visible to other players on the leaderboard.
3. Data the Game collects directly
- Player name: generated automatically and editable from the menu. It is shown next to your scores on the leaderboard. It is the only information you enter that could be linked to you.
- Approximate country: derived from the IP address your device connects from when reaching our servers (via our infrastructure provider’s geolocation). This is not precise geolocation and does not reveal your exact location — only a country-level approximation.
- Installation identifier: a random identifier created on your device that associates your data across sessions and powers the leaderboard. It cannot identify you personally.
- Scores and progress: records, completed levels, and the current run. Stored locally; competitive-mode scores are published on the leaderboard.
4. Third parties that process data
- Supabase: anonymous identity and global leaderboard. Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). No account with an email or password is created.
- GameAnalytics: game analytics (gameplay events, session duration, country, app version, platform, and an installation identifier generated by the SDK). It does not receive your player name or any other personal data you enter. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, event submission to GameAnalytics is off by default. See its privacy policy.
- Google AdMob: advertising. It may collect your device’s advertising identifier, approximate location, and ad interaction data, per Google’s Privacy Policy. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the Game asks for your consent (through Google’s UMP platform) before showing personalized ads; without consent, ads are shown without personalization.
5. How we use data
To improve the Game and its difficulty, maintain the leaderboard and rankings, analyze usage, and show ads and measure their performance. We do not sell personal data.
6. Data we do NOT collect
Email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, exact location, financial data, or in-app purchases (the Game does not include them).
7. Consent and control
- Ads: you can withdraw consent or receive non-personalized ads from your device settings or Google’s (Google Ads Settings).
- Analytics and leaderboard: in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, analytics event submission is off by default and no action is needed to disable it further. Outside those regions, the Game does not include an in-app switch to disable analytics. You can request the deletion of your server-side data (analytics, leaderboard, and identity) at any time by writing to [bresastudio@gmail.com].
- Deletion: uninstalling the application removes the local data on your device.
8. Local storage
Progress, identity, and settings are stored in your device’s internal storage and are only transmitted as described in this policy.
9. Retention
Leaderboard data is kept as long as the game identity exists or until you request its deletion. Analytics data is kept per GameAnalytics’ policy. Local data is kept until you uninstall the application or clear its data.
10. Children
The Game is directed at users aged 13 and older. It has received a content rating of PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone / IARC 3+ (suitable for all ages). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us at [bresastudio@gmail.com].
11. Changes
If we modify this policy, we will update this page and its last-updated date.
